Corporate Profile
Byteworks International Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore in May 2000. The Directors of the company were a retired senior naval officer and two IT graduates from the National University of Singapore. It started as a web design company and a reseller of web hosting & dedicated lease line services for a well-known ISP in Singapore. As the IT environment evolved and matured, and business opportunities changed and shifted directions, the Directors reviewed the company's business strategy and shifted its focus to other areas of the IT spectrum while embracing the 'one-stop' provider philosophy.

As of 2002, the company, with the support of its strategic partners, offered Application Business Solutions (ERP, to Small & Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore.
Application Business software needs a well oiled and hassle free IT infrastructure (hardware & software) to optimize its potential capabilities. Enterprises of today look to third party to outsource their IT support services to save cost and remain competitive and profitable. Based upon these considerations, it was natural that Byteworks International was also providing Network & IT Consultancy Services to SMEs.

Although the company had shifted its focus but to maintain its philosophy of a 'one-stop' solution provider, it continued to provide the Internet related services, such as, web site development, web site & e-mail hosting, broad band access & dedicated or co-location server hosting right up to 2005.
